"Return to Jubilee" 18x24 oil on canvas. Framed.
This piece highlights the changing of seasons/times/of moods. On the left you you see the night, barren and in states of decay. A lone wanderer searches on, his lantern signaling hope, but getting no answer.
On the right we see the fertile mother, feeding and nurturing her people. They drink her blood, reap her wheat, build and foster communities.
Winter is hard. We often times forget it is a vital period to recharge, delve within, so we can re-emerge. Become fertile and giving and nurturing ourselves. This is not only with seasons, but also encompasses a natural flow of life. Keep hope my friends. Even in the damp and cold, moss and fungi flourish. You can still feel the breeze. Jubilee will return.
